Product Description

Antique Cast Iron Davenport Door / Rim Lock

This is a cast iron ‘Davenport’ style door rim latch with an antiqued finish and attractive bead detailing. The Davenport is a single lever, dual handed rim lock. It is suitable for all internal doors including the bathroom. It comes complete with an emergency release, facilitating access from outside the room. Each lock is hand finished and is supplied with two solid brass keys. Both the external design and internal locking mechanism are based on original Victorian locks. This can be fitted on the left or right hand side of a door to suit your requirements. In keeping with tradition, this is not lacquered, allowing the items to age gracefully. All our locks & latches have been faithfully reproduced to the quality and standard of our former peers.

This is available in brass, nickel or iron as seen in pictures. This listing is for the IRON.

The picture also shows a beehive style door knob attached which we also have available in stock. Please note they are sold separately.
