Reclaimed Victorian African Teak Parquet Block Flooring

Description

Reclaimed Victorian African Teak Parquet Block Flooring

These blocks are believed to be Afrormosia, which is a West African hardwood in the teak family.
All reclaimed from a Victorian school in Birmingham.
This flooring has a fantastic grain similar to oak.

The first 4 images show a sample board with the blocks sanded and clear waxed. The blocks can be finished with a variety of different waxes or oils in different colour tones.
The last 4 images show the blocks with just a quick wipe over.

The blocks have been cleaned to the best of our ability and only have slight bitumen residue on the underneath. This bitumen will take to any floor adhesive so are ready to lay.
