Reclaimed 18th Century Hand Carved Sarcophagus Trough

This long rectangular trough was hard carved hundreds of years ago, for the purpose of being a sarcophagus (stone coffin). It was removed from a church between Oxford and Banbury.

This comes rich in age & history as dates back to estimated early 18th Century, could even be older.

This is a truly stunning piece which boasts a fantastic patina that has weathered naturally over time.

Being both decorative & purposeful, this will be a truly eye catching feature.
